Umoya Capital Partners through one of its existing relationships have successfully concluded an MBO of Connoisseur Electronics together with our co-investment partners Mast Capital and Ernest Vermeulen.
The company
Connoisseur imports and distributes a suite of sound and listening equipment to large physical and online retailers. Connoisseur is the exclusive South African agent for well established brands including: Harmon Kardon, JBL, Phillips, TEAC and Austere brands. Connoisseur has formed a niche market within South Africa and has over 35 years’ experience to its name.
